"Lincoln didn't like it."

Lincoln ran to us this morning after being in the kitchen crying and holding his finger. Apparently there was a wasp in the kitchen that Lincoln tried to pick up and it stung him. Later today we were driving around looking at lots and Lincoln shows us his finger and says "wassssssp owie finger...Lincoln didn't like it"
He exaggerates the S's in wasp. It was pretty adorable.

Real Salt Lake game

(for you non-utahans that is pronounced re-al) Well, Lincoln should now be well versed of all the major sports! We've taken him to football, baseball, and now soccer at the Real game. If only Utah had a good enough basketball team to want to watch (hehe go spurs!) then he would watch a basketball game too. Next year maybe. He started cheering right along with everyone else there. Its been probably 10 years since I've watched soccer, so Em had to remind me of the rules quite a bit. We got pretty good seats too!

Seven peaks

Well, it's been a long 4 days! We listed the house on Thursday and have had 20 showings and 1 offer already. We weren't able to accept their offer so hopefully more come in! On top of that, both kids had pink eye and ear infections. They're mucho better now thank goodness! We've been quarantined to the house since Thursday so it was a nice break to head to seven peaks after our last showing today. They loved it there. Didn't do any slides except the kid one. We just relaxed in the lazy river and wave pool. It was just what we needed. I have a feeling that since we have season passes we are going to be there a lot this summer!

Blaze game

Russ scored us some sweet tickets again to the Blaze game. Lincoln paid attention more than last time and loved it. Towards the end, he was losing his attention and the tiger mascot came to us and blew a huge confetti gun at us. Lincoln had a ball playing with the confetti and kept him entertained til the end!

Swimming

We went to the Murray pool with some friends today. It was super fun. Lincoln went down the huge water slide by himself. London fell asleep in the pool.

Bath night it is!

Ice cream man!

He finally came before 8:30, so I took Lincoln out to get an ice cream. He was so excited. Kept yelling at him down the street "come here ice cream man!" Which is hilarious because he's never been up to one before. Every night around bedtime he drives past and he thought it was an ambulance at first, so I taught him that it was an ice cream man. Meh- both vehicles that makes cool noises to him ;)

Eww... Green beans

She was making the funniest faces.

Camping

We went camping this weekend to little Moab. Nathan got a(nother) basically free land rover that we are going to use as a strictly off road vehicle. It's been rolled before but everything mechanically works. It's just not the prettiest thing ever, and it is missing most of the widows (including the windshield). BUT I gotta say, I like it. I don't care about it at all so I'm not annoying Nathan saying "daily driver, daily driver!" because its not and I don't care :)
We met up with Nathan's friend Sharlee from work then Travis came up too. I went a little iPhone picture crazy and hardly took any pictures with my real camera so these are all from my phone. Lincoln had so much fun, and so did London. They're pretty good campers.

Utah

I look back on the days where I swore I would NEVER live in Utah. And here I am, 8 or 9 years later (lost count). Still in Utah. I honestly can't imagine living somewhere else. So on days like this today, I sit and think... Wow, what a great place Utah actually is. And it makes me okay with the fact that I'm probably never going to move to another state. I guess it's not so bad after all.

The observer

My kids are so observant. London is always in awe watching Lincoln play at the park.

I'm a puddle jumper pusher

99% of the time when I see a puddle I tell Lincoln to jump in it. Why not?! He loves it.
