Not fun times
On Sunday, London started to feel sick. She was coughing, sneezing, and just acting different. Finally on Monday it got worse because she wouldn't keep her food down. So we took her in to the doc. He said to keep a close eye on her and bring her back the next morning if she still wasn't eating. Well, she got worse so we took her back Tuesday and they ended up admitting her to the hospital. At first I was just thinking that they'd hook her up to an iv overnight to get some fluids in her and release us the next day. Well when we got to the hospital, they hooked her iv up and she was having breathing problems. They had to put her on oxygen, deep suction her every 4ish hours, and take some urine and blood samples to check for infections. She came back positive for RSV. The poor little girl was miserable Tuesday and Wednesday! By Thursday though she started looking better and they were able to wean her off the oxygen and send us home Thursday night. We went back this morning to check up on her again. They've been following a heart murmur since she was born but it had never really been a concern. Since she was sick they could hear it more now though, so they're having us take her to a pediatric cardiologist thursday to do an echocardiogram on her. Hopefully everything is okay there. That's a little scary especially since I had to have open heart surgery when I was 2 years old. They said hers isn't related to what I had though so that's reassuring.
Anyways, she's acting completely normal now! Back to her smiling self :)

Love this kid
When I woke up this morning (after a very long night with sick little london) I walked into Lincoln's room where he was silently playing with his toy drill, wearing shoes on the wrong feet, and wearing his clip on tie.

The bath punishment
So. I was talking on the phone to Nathan and the word "bath" came up. Immediately Lincoln started screaming the word bath and ran out of the room. I went to find him a couple minutes later, and this is how/where he was:
London's new skirt
Here is London's "woah-that's-a-bright-flash" face
She is so long and skinny that it's a little tough for clothes to actually fit her right. Onesies that fit her around the waist are too short, and ones that are long enough are ginormous around her torso. SO, I decided to make her a cute little skirt. I have never seen a newborn/tiny sized skirt for sale anywhere. Only dresses... not sure why because they are adorable! So I had this fabric laying around from an old project that I never did and decided to put it to use. An hour later, ta-da! Cute skirt :)I wish I had the time, energy, and more talent to create a whole line of baby clothes. I'm definitely going to be making more clothes for London though, at least while she's small and it's easy :)

Finally!
I've always seen pictures of kids falling asleep in weird places and have wanted Lincoln to do it too. I know, I'm strange. Well, today was the day! We were eating lunch and me and Nathan were playing monopoly and we looked over and he was doing the hovering in a circle with his head, nodding down and jerking back up thing. It was so hilarious we were trying not to laugh while Nathan got a video. I'll have to post that soon. Anyways, here he is- fast asleep sitting up!

Ice Skating - New Years
Since Amy & Kevin are being lame and moving to Washington in a couple days, this was our last hurrah with them. We actually managed to get the group together to hang out with no kids too! That has never happened before. lol
We drug the boys downtown to go ice skating at the outdoor gallivan center, then hurried back to mike&julies house for midnight. It was a great night!
We're going to miss you guys, amy&kev.
the girls! i hate when i'm the only one not looking. haha
Here's the speedo guy at the marriott over looking the rink. He thought he couldn't be seen...
my new years babes
Our first new years activity of the night was to go to the church with some friends from the ward to play dodgeball and eat delicious chili. It was fun! I hadn't played dodgeball since the tournament I did years and years ago with Randy Mangum and his friends. Here are just a couple pics of the kids before we left. Adorable if I do say so myself!

He found his pockets so now he loves walking around with his hands in there.
