Motocross

We went out to the rocky mountain raceway tonight. Lincoln liked it but it was FREEZING! What's with this weather?! I want summer to be here.

Ear peircing

We went and got London's ears pierced today. She did so good. Only cried for 5 seconds then was as happy and sleepy as could be. So cute.

Before and after

Usually in the after picture the person is super smiley because of their glorious transformation. Not in Lincoln's case. He was very indifferent about the whole situation. This was a very last minute decision to cut his hair. I was driving past a cosmetology school that had a sign for $2 haircuts. Next thing I know he's in the chair! It made me feel even better about 5 minutes in to the cut that I found out the girl cutting his hair was a junior in high school. Man! High school girls look old!! She was actually really good with him though.

Easter Weekend in Fountain Green

We spent Easter weekend in Fountain Green and had LOADS of fun.  Here's lots of pictures!

See that little bull over there?  Ya, he didn't have a good day that day.  Let's just say... I castrated him. yup.

Lincoln thought that dying eggs was really fun.  So much fun that he stuffed 4 eggs in one little mug... therefore cracking all of them :)  You could definitely tell which ones were Lincoln's!

Ada and Lincoln got to do an easter egg hunt in the orchard at Birth Creek. The older kids got free reign of the field.  Worked out pretty good!

Whenever one of them would find an egg, they'd give it to the other.  Progress, people!!!! Progress! They might not turn out to be mortal enemies after all.

Nathan rigged up a tree swing that London could enjoy :)

They had so much fun riding the little bikes and 4 wheeler around all day.

So much fun, that he fell asleep after riding for about an hour! :)

Trying to find his easter basket

Wearing one of my old dresses from when I was little for Easter

These were Ada and Lincoln's reactions to the cascarones!!!
Pretty hilarious...

Then they finally got used to it and discovered that it was fun.  I love how Ada is sneaking up on Lincoln!

Lincoln and lyrics

We were out off-roading and listening to some music in the car.  Lincoln all of a sudden immediately copies the words of the song and sings the lyrics "angels sighing".  It was pretty funny.  So, since then I knew he was paying attention to the lyrics, the next song that came on was "I want candy".  I was joking with him and said "That's not how you ask for candy, huh, Lincoln!  They're supposed to say please."  I wasn't even sure if he was listening to me or not.  Right after the song ended there was a quiet moment between songs and he turns to me and says "Candy, please!"  It was pretty funny.  When I type things out, they don't seem as funny, but I promise they are funny.
Here he is driving the rover!

Love this girl

Lincoln cracks her up like nothing else!

Blaze game

Russ scored some free (really good!) tickets to the indoor arena football game of the Blaze. I wasn't sure what to expect but it was a lot of fun! The field is a lot smaller and the action is right close to everyone because there are no sidelines. The field ends at cushioned walls just on front of the first row. Lincoln was pretty good. He payed attention during the first half, then lost interest and started entertaining himself the rest of it. Still fun though! Thanks Russ!

Summer!

I feel summer finally! Even though it hasn't been that bad of a winter, I'm so excited to play all summer long. This will be the first summer that I'm not working during the week. I'll still be shooting weddings here and there but nothing like my past 4 normal summers where I worked long hard hours! We busted out the water toys and Lincoln (and us) had a blast.

We went to the aviary today with Emily. It was pretty cool there!

Roller rink!

Happy birthday Mado! We had a great time at madolyns birthday party at classic skating. Lincoln got to try out his new scooter on a smooth floor, and he was so confident with the skates that he wouldn't let me hold his hand!

A boy and his bear

Teddy has had an "owie" for a couple days. (a string hanging off his face) Lincoln had been taking good care of him. He gives him a hug and a kiss better each day.

Stickin her tongue out

All you have to do is look at her, and this is the face you get! Love her.
