Bear Lake

We got to spend a couple days up at a timeshare at Bear Lake this last weekend. It was a nice getaway, and I finally got to fulfill my urge to swim. Swimming is the best thing ever I think. Lincoln LOVES it (and London too, actually!). That's pretty much what we did for 3 days there.

Ready for her first time swimming!
Lyla was being hilarious with this bowl of popcorn! She would pull it close to her, then push it away with her feet.. ok, it doesn't sound funny when I explain it, but I promise, it was hilarious :)

The girls chillin at the pool watching everyone. When someone would walk past, they would simultaneously follow them with their heads and eyes while still sucking on their binkies.. They're pretty cute together.

Yup, Nathan was wearing a floaty too.
How cute is my little Ada!

I didn't get a good picture of mado for some reason!

Yes, yes, that is your belly button.

Tan the man!
Randy is fancy.

"Cheese"

Lincoln LOVES the camera now. Whenever I get it out, he had to run in front of me and say "cheeeeese".. and now he even started putting his hands in his pocket automatically. I always make him put his hands in his pockets when I take his photo because then he doesn't do weird things with his hands during a picture. Anyways, we were selling our old fridge tonight so I got out the camera to take a picture of it, and he will NOT let me. He got on top of the coffee table, standing directly in my way of the fridge just so he could take his picture and mess mine up :)
So, he's a pro now! Would that be weird if I got him into modeling? I seriously think he would do great at it now.

Planes, Trains, and Automobiles

On Saturday, we went to the model train show.. it was interesting. Lots of weird people there and you could tell we weren't in Salt Lake Valley anymore. haha First, we went to the Hill AFB museum to take Lincoln's 2 year old pictures. He LOVED seeing all the planes. I'll post those pictures later. Then we went to the train show. It was very crowded, but the one cool part was that Lincoln, Nathan, and even London rode the mini train they had there. They also had an old car show at the same place, so that was pretty neat seeing.

London's dress

Here is the latest dress I made for London. One small mistake that I honestly didn't realize until I went to put it on her-no room to put it over her head! haha... I seriously just sewed all the way around it, so I hurried and cut a slit down the back that I need to patch up and put a button on. Oh the mistakes of beginner sew-ers. lol

the kids!

London's surgery

London had her heart catheterization on Feb 16th. We checked her in at 6am that morning, and they had her all prepped to go in for surgery at 9am. They gave us a pager and told us to walk around the hospital and they'd page us when she was done. They said it should take about 3 hours, but 1 1/2 hours later we got a page! She did so great. The doc brought us into the x-ray room where he showed us a video of the x-ray as they were placing the device into her heart to close the duct. They let me go back and see her first because she was still coming out of her anesthesia. It was sooo sad seeing her like that. For a couple hours after, she was sleeping the whole time, then she started coming around when my parents stopped by the hospital around 2. They she was all smiles, kicking, and ready to be picked up! She had to lay flat until 3pm though. They told us that we'd be spending the night since the beginning, but around 6, they let us go home! She was doing even better than expected. She was completely back to normal, and is doing great. You can't even see the incision on her leg anymore.

Valentines Day

I'm a bit behind, huh! On Valentines day, Nathan had to work so we got to spend lunch together, then he went off to work. Emily was our date that night, so we drove to Orem to eat at The Chocolate, a yummy bakery that a friend from texas works at.

I have no idea what's going on in this picture, but it cracks me up. Sorry em! haha
