our kid is 1

last night we had a little get together last night for charlie's birthday. Charlie had 2 of his friends over, Sadie and Buttons. It was a good time!

Yay for tulips!

This is the first time in my entire life that I have planted flowers
and they have grown! I actually forgot that I planted these like 6
months ago and the other day they started coming up! I love tulips so
hopefully they'll keep growin

4 wheeling

It's been crazy lately! Nathan is still out of a job, but it's kind of nice because I've been having weekends and mondays off lately so we have gotten to go out of town more than we normally do since he doesn't have to work on mondays. Last weekend we went to southern utah, escalante, to take ashley & spencers engagements/groomal pictures. go to my photo blog to see those... www.dezemberphotoblog.com then click on stacey's blog.

About a month ago, maybe three weeks ago we went down to fountain green to see my parents. Travis and lindsay came along with us and we spent the night in the trailor. me, nathan and travis went on a really nice 4 wheeling ride up in the mountains behind my parents house for a couple hours. It was really fun and pretty. we got stuck in about 3 feet of snow 4 times though. It was a good thing my dad bought a winch the day before because it got lots of use! Here are a couple pictures that we took.

Vegas

In February we went to Vegas for a big photography convention called WPPI. I learned a ton of stuff from going to classes taught by photographers from all around the world. There was a huge tradeshow also, that I wished I could buy everything there, all the new products and cool camera stuff. On the flight there, I was really craving CiCi’s. Since they have some in Vegas, I got Ran all excited on the flight there so by the time we landed we HAD to have CiCi’s. Well, it was a $30 cab ride there but it was totally worth it for all you can eat 5 buck buffet! After that with luggage still and all we stopped at Smiths to get some groceries for the week. It was pretty funny walking around the store with a cart full of luggage. We totally looked homeless. Anyways, it was super fun and I learned a lot of new techniques and lighting. Good stuff! I didn’t take very many pictures, but here are the few that I did!
