Nathan and I went up to midway to swim at the homestead crater and
have lunch. It was a great day, then we came home to a big surprise by
our side door... A Christmas tree!!! For the past 3 years, we've had a
tiny ghetto tree that was quite sad looking. We actually used to put
it up on a side table just to make it look a little bigger. So my
parents surprised us tonight and bought us a super nice 7.5 foot tall
tree for Christmas! Complete with little berries, pinecones, and some
frosted tips. I'll get a better picture up when I have my camera
around and I finish decorating, but for now- a trusty iPhone pic!

Today we went for our Sunday drive to smith and morehouse resevoir. It
was gorgeous there and we were the only people in the entire park. We
played fetch with Charlie and Nathan had fun throwing rocks into the
lake to try to break the ice. Afterwards, we came home and finished
our 2,000 piece puzzle that we've been working on for a couple months.
It was a nice relaxing day together.
In other news, the baby has been kicking like crazy every day now. He
especially likes the hours between 4-7pm.

Black Friday fun

I had a blast shopping today with Nathan at 4:30am and my mom and gma
in the afternoon. We got some awesome deals and I'm thinking about
making target 4am shopping a tradition

How many girls does it take to buy a drill?

Thrift store finds

Yesterday we got alot accomplished. In the morning I went to my first
messiah choir practice. Shan, Renae, and Chelsea are singing in it as
well. Me and shan kept cracking up laughing at inappropriate times
which made it more fun. In the afternoon me and Bner went to the
thrift store and found dime fun stuff. I got picture frames and she
got a jewelry box. We had a blast restoring them by spray painting
them cool colors. After she left, me and Nathan went to another thrift
store and got some more frames, a cool nightstand shelf thing for the
babys room, and some crazy shelves. Everything I got was only $35 today!
We spent the rest of the night outside painting our new things orange,
gray, brown, and cream. Nathan made a fire in the backyard to jeep us
warm. We got the frames up on the wall but there is nothing in them
yet. In each frame we are going to put pictures of our family, and the
top frame will say something about his family tree or just his name.
